How It Works

Objective: Understand the client's specific needs and requirements.
Action: Conduct a thorough consultation to gather information on what the client envisions for their race trailer.

Objective: Develop a tailor-made race trailer design.
Action: Draft the trailer in DWG format based on the client's requirements. Fine-tune race trailer design with client and sign off on final design.

Objective: Obtain the correct chassis for the approved design.
Action:
Based on specifications outlined in the design phase, determine whether to use chassis from existing stock or engage with one of Astacar's trusted suppliers.

Objective: Prepare and manufacture the structural components of the trailer.
Action:
Technical department designs each wall based on the trailer's specifications.
Coordinate with the local supplier (1 km away) for the isothermal walls, which are produced using fiberglass, laminate, and resin with a vacuum system.

Objective: Assemble the trailer structure.
Action:
Once the chassis and walls arrive, begin assembly.
Install the rear hydraulic ramp for loading race cars or motorcycles.

Objective: Apply a protective finish and complete the interior elements of the trailer.
Action:
Send the assembled trailer to one of three trusted paint shops.
After approximately one month, when the trailer returns from painting, install flooring, load-securing bars, lighting, air conditioning, and any other requested accessories or machinery.

Objective: Ensure the trailer meets Astacar’s high standards and prepare for final delivery.
Action:
Conduct a thorough quality inspection of the completed trailer.
Clean the trailer and perform any last-minute adjustments.
Deliver the finished race trailer to the client, ready for use.

Fully-Homologated, US-Spec Trailers
In late 2023, RCO and ASTACar embarked on the production of the first two commissioned American Race Trailers. After close collaboration on the design and development of these first two examples, the first race trailer was shipped to America in April 2024 and the second in July 2024.
